ANTIQUE OAK FILE CABINET, AMBERGS CABINET LETTER FILE, LARGE MULTI DRAWER CARD CATALOG, APOTHECARY CABINET, INDUSTRIAL FARMHOUSE FURNITURE. Stunning oak file cabinet. Original “Amberg’s Cabinet Letter File” stenciling at top. Original finish, worn to perfection. True antique, over 120 years old. Many drawers have an inventory form with hand written dates. Earliest written date is June 15, 1900. Latest patent date is 1886. 18 open backed, letter file drawers. 2 wood roll cover, tambour doors, work as they should. Have locks, no keys included. Bottom cabinet is open and has a single fixed shelf. One pullout wood writing surface. Finish is all original and shows age and wear nicely. Useful and displays beautifully. Very good condition overall. Normal wear and tear from decades of use. Scuffs, scratches, dings, dents, finish wear, edge wear, discoloration and staining, etc. All drawers slide smoothly.
